Calm Pets, Busy Home

A renovation calm plan for cats and dogs.

Help your pets cope with a home under renovation.

Drilling, unfamiliar people, and changing routines can make home improvements unsettling for cats and dogs. Calm Pets, Busy Home gives you a practical plan to prepare before work starts, support your pet during noisy days, and ease back into normal routines afterward.

This 28-page digital guide includes separate advice for cats and dogs, clear steps you can adapt to your household, and printable tools to keep caregivers and contractors informed.

Inside, you’ll learn how to:

• Create a quiet retreat with familiar comforts.
• Recognize early signs of fear and respond when stress rises.
• Introduce gentle, reward-based sound practice.
• Maintain meals, rest, toilet breaks, and familiar care.
• Coordinate doors, deliveries, and noisy tasks with your crew.
• Decide when quieter accommodation or veterinary support is needed.

Includes five printable tools: a pet comfort profile, renovation planner, daily comfort log, pet-room door notice, and crew handoff sheet.

Whether you’re planning a small repair or a larger renovation, put your pet’s needs into the schedule.
